You've probably noticed our new logo - whaddaya think?
And in other amazing news we got back into a real live pub! Well...outside a real live pub but that's still pretty cool, especially as the sun was out! In episode 116 we talked about the challenge of people keeping their cameras off when on work video calls. We hope you enjoy it! Cheers!

This is an "Ask The Landlord" episode where we covered a question from one of our patrons about the speed of decisions. This led us to talk about precrastinators (like Geoff) and procrastinators (like Paul) and unconscious heuristics (or good old intuition as Paul calls it) before looking at Cynefin, decision fatigue and Paul crumbling under pressure on TV gameshows. Enjoy!!

We were so excited to have a drink with the awesome Chris Williams of Badass Agile in Canada. Apart from the inevitable pandemic conversation, we discussed the concept of Mastery as a discipline. That, and how failure is still a stigma.
Chris is a legend of agile podcasting, having recorded nearly 500 episodes and please do check out his website https://badassagile.com/ where you can find out about the podcast and his badass leadership program called The Forge.
Chris also kindly donated some goodies just for our patrons so check out the patreon.com/theagilepubcast to see his exclusive 20 minute clip on the leader qualities of Navy SEALs and accompanying slide deck for you to re-use and enjoy.

From our homes, UK. Episode 110 is our first "proper" episode of 2021 and, after welcoming our four newest Patrons (Paul Lister, Francesco Bianchi, Erika Braverman and Lynn Olsen) we got to tackling a question from another of our Patrons in the "Ask The Landlord" feature. Andreas Wittler wanted our recommended games or exercises to re-energise a devastated team.
As well as exploring that, we learned about the completion of Paul's latest Improv programme and how this week has been the best year of 2021 so far for Geoff...yes you read that correctly!

Hello listeners, Geoff and I would like to wish you, our beloved listeners, a very happy Christmas this year. It’s been what can only be described as a “shitty” year for almost everyone, but I’m certainly hoping that 2021 brings much more joy and happiness and plenty more of those vaccines too!
We’d like to end this year by sharing with you our Christmas song. If you are new to the pubcast, Geoff & Paul murder a Christmas classic each year all in the name of charity. This year, our nominated charity is Reach - REACH is the leading charity providing support and information to parents and their children affected by upper limb difference. If you would like to make a donation, you can do so online at
On behalf of both Geoff and myself, we hope you have a great Christmas and we will both be back with another pubcast in the new year!!
